could not calculate build plan: error resolving version for plugin

Hi,
I have installed sdk 3.2.3 with JIRA 4.2.1 along with my eclipse which has maven plugin(m2eclipse).
I created a skeleton plugin, when i import the skeleton into eclipse, its throwing the below error.
could not calculate build plan: error resolving version for plugin.
Help me what i am missing, what i want to do, to overcome this error.
It is also not pointing to any of the jar files.
