expected behavior of workzone when no approver is added

I have user who has a minimum one of approver set in his repo and workzone enable to auto merge pull requests.

He had a pull request that had no approvers added to it, and workzone automatically merged it.

Is this expected behavior, or should I be looking for errors in the log/filing a ticket?

Is the minimum approvals number set in the Pull Request configuration of your repository?

Workzone should not be able to go past this merge-check and merge a PR without that required approval. If this happens please log a ticket : Create issue

He did have the minimum number of approvers set, but this was awhile back and hasn't happened again, so I don't have enough details to provide.
