getting 403 error trying to add Jira Cloud tab to Teams

When I go to add the Jira Cloud tab, I enter the jira account link and click connect. I get a 403 error and the tab is not created. I have the addon installed on my jira instance. Any idea what's happening? I can connect to another cloud instance that I have, so it's not a problem on the Teams side, somehow permissions must not be right but I don't know where, I am admin on both systems.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Jay

Hi,

this problem persists still for me. Getting 403 on the webapp and after multiple retries.

Hi Fabian,

By uninstalling the addon and reinstalling this problem went away for me.

Dear @Jay Keck ,

Please try to check whether you are still facing problems with authentication. First of all, we would kindly ask you to reinstall the add-on and to log and create a tab via browser (web-version of MS Teams).

Waiting for your reply!

Best regards,

Dear Jay,

First of all, if you use the desktop version of MS Teams, please try to perform the same actions in the web version. Also, we would kindly ask you to reinstall Jira Cloud add-on in Microsoft Teams. In addition to it, could you please send us the screenshots and steps to reproduce?

In the meantime, please provide us with information about MS Teams, JIRA Cloud integration, and the current operating system versions.

Waiting for your reply!

Best regards,
