Is there a "for each" function available?
example: A user creates a Story that has multiple 'component' field values, it would be nifty if an automation could run through the list of components and create sub-tasks for each.
Is that possible with the current toolset?
Hi Charles,
Sorry, but we don't support this use case yet in Automation for Jira. We're tracking this improvement here: https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-81
We've got quite a few higher priority items in our backlog at the moment so it will be a while before we can get to this, but we'll let you know when we get a chance to work on this.
Cheers,
Andreas
@andreas, what you mentioned in response to Question 925132 - using if/else with hardcoded values from the combo boxes - is exactly what I'm doing now and it certainly isn't ideal and it is prone to errors.
Having the ability to do this natively within your add-on would be amazing. I am watching this page in the hopes that you put this feature on the backlog sooner rather than later.
Thanks,
Paul

@andreas it would seem that former 'codebarrel' jira instance has been folded ... possibly into a new instance/project. Do you have the updated community-trackable issue number/link for what once was "AUT-81" ?
