"We can't open this document as" message

I'm an admin and have users reporting an issue with embedded Google docs. They are seeing a "We cannot open this document as [user name]" error message when trying to view them on the page. I was able to reproduce the problem with one. If I click on the "Open in Google Drive" link, it works fine so I know I have permissions to see it and it exists.

The one particular document I could reproduce it for is a Sheet. I'm finding out if it's happening with other document types.

Edited to add that this stopped working on Friday. It appears a new version was released to the Cloud on Friday as well.

Found a possible solution.

When in Google Sheets/Docs/Slides and going to File->Publish. After selecting publish and getting the link and using it in the Confluence Google macro, I was running into the problem above.

I then noticed that the URL given after selecting publish was a different URL than the one displayed in the address bar. I copied and pasted that URL (minus the "share" text) into the macro and no longer receive the error above.

This looks like related to a recently reported and resolved bug

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-66551

I had to click "Switch Accounts" 5 times in order to fix my issue.

My users are reporting this exact problem as well, despite the fact that I added the new client ID for "Google Drive for Confluence" to the "Trusted" apps whitelist in G Suite.
