I'm using riada insight on jira service desk I have a field called hostmame and one of the attributes of the field is "groups" this attribute contains one or more user groups of jira service desk. I would like to make sure that when I select a hostname object the workflow allows me to send an email to all the people inside the groups indicated in the attribute
Hi Kalos.
Please see our Insight Postfunctions Documentation: Email user(s) based on attribute in a selected Insight Object
Where it is noted, regarding the Insight Object Type Attribute selected in the postfunction: "Specify the name of the Object Type Attribute where to fetch the user from. Any type except "User" or "Default / Email" will be ignored. "
The Group Attribute Type is not supported at the moment in the Email postfunction.
I would like to recommend you to visit https://jira.riada.io which is our open ticket system for feature requests and verified bugs. You can view, watch, vote and comment on issues reported by anyone.
If you can't find an already opened ticket request for this feature, feel free to create a new one.
Please inform us if you have further inquiries.

I thank you for your reply.
My requirement would be to send an email notification of the creation of an issue where a component is chosen from the CMDB by taking the email addresses of the people to send the email from the group to which they belong.
The group is a property associated with the element of the chosen cmdb.

Hi.
A Script postfunction may get all the emails of a Jira Group into an "Email" type Attribute, with multiple cardinality - which then will be used in the Email postfunction...
We do have another product - Notification Assistant for Jira where you can trigger a Notification to a Jira Group, upon Issue created event.
Cheers
Yinon
