Hi,
We are upgrading our confluence from3.1 .2to 4.2.2 . After migrating we are facing one issue with tab structure using compostion. In 3.1, there was a heirarchy (tab has another set of 5 tabs). In the new pages, heirarchy is missing subtabs are also appearing on first level tabs. it looks like all the sub-pages and tabs have been flattened and all of them appear on the same page.
Any one has this issue with your environment, please give your workarounds or suggestions to fix this issue.
Thanks,
Lucky
Was this ever resolved? I noticed those two URLs provided no longer work and cannot find content on being able to add a tab within a tab (aka. Nested Deck) with Composition Tabs for Confluence in the cloud instance. Has anyone been able to confirm if this works?
Hi Mark,
Good day to you. The original issue that was mentioned was a bug to an old Composition add-on for Confluence Server and has been fixed.
In regards to Confluence Cloud, the feature for nested tabs has been removed due to the new fabric editor announced for Confluence Cloud. Please refer to the following announcement for more info: https://blog.developer.atlassian.com/macro-updates-for-the-new-confluence-cloud-editor/#deprecation-of-nested-bodied-macros
That being said, we have raised this feature to our product team for a nested tab feature: COM-I-31. We recommend to upvote and comment to increase its popularity as the status is currently "Gathering Interest".
We hope the information has been helpful. Do let us know if you have any question.

We are able to fix by going to each page from where the tab has been included or added.
Reasons are
1) not converted properly to XHTML
2) syntax issues
fix is copy the code , delete the existing code, paste the copied code in wikimarkup macro. place the cards under deck macro if necessary.

Think this is a known bug, google for "nested deck":
