Instead of manually exporting the JQL result, I wanted to automate so that it would create excel and copy to a networkpath or email to a person. is that doable?

Excel Automation Plugin does the trick for you.

It allows exporting and saving or exporting and emailing Excel spreadsheets according to a configurable schedule.

(Sorry for commenting a question related to EazyBI, but it may be important to know alternatives when EazyBI does not readily offer a solution.)

Hi!

Starting from eazyBI version 2.0.0 it is possible to schedule regular e-mails with eazyBI dashboards as PDF attachments.

For now it is not possible to receive automatic e-mail with export to XLS. Thank you for the suggestion, we will consider this for future development.
