Remove currentUser() from request participants?

So we've come across the following issue which has been reported as a bug.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-6347

As a work around, I was going to setup automation to remove currentUser() from request participants. I've got the logic setup for the WHEN, IF and AND but it looks like the Edit Issue option only allows me to set Request Participants, not remove currentUser().

Is there another way to manipulate this that I'm missing?

Hi Reiss,

Thanks for your question. In the edit issue you can't use JQL functions such as currentUser(), instead this user is referenced using the smart value {{initiator}}. To remove this field you will need to use the "More options" section like so:

Thanks Jack. This looks promising. I'll give this a try!
