Resize tabs in the SP Tab Groups Macro

I just came across the SP Tabs Group macro, and I like it quite a bit. I would like to have longer tab names if possible, so I was wondering if there was a way to resize the tabs themselves, similar to how I would use Columns to get a balanced layout of my content?
