Retaining work when moving issue between sprints

Hi,

One of my users has asked if it's possible to retain "work and/or point" values when an existing issue is moved from one sprint to another. We're currently on JIRA Software 7.4.3. Thanks.

In Scrum-land effort is tracked per sprint. You don’t want to show effort in the current sprint for previous.
