Hi all.
We are evaluating eazyBI.
I set up an issue hierarchy like this in JIRA STRUCTURE (ALM)
A = Program (PPPS-11)
- B = Projects (PPPS-12)
-- C = Products (PPPS-15 and PPPS-16)
Bear in mind that each issue has JIRA parent-child links automatically set-up by STRUCTURE
Only Products have numeric data. Program and Project data should be rolled up
If I try to do a report with eazyBI I'm not able to roll up to project and program level and so I got this table
with empty cells (Portfolio Programmi is the JIRA Project)

In a past question to some other guy you told about issue aggregation.
Can I use it ? How ?
Thank you indeed
Alessandro
Hello Alessandro,
I don't think it's possible right now, but we were talking to our colleagues at EazyBI the other day about possibilities for integration, so there is a good chance it will be implemented in the future.
Do you see any other use cases, where you'd like to see some Structure data in an EazyBI report?
Thanks,
Eugene (ALM Works)
I'll try to be more detailed, I think that can be useful to many.
Practically speaking we want to manage in a very simple way a set of projects (grouped in programs and possibly other classification levels) and analyse them (impact analysis, completion analysis and so on).
All that using charts, table and dashboards.in order to be easily and quickly understood
1) A hierarchy of issues is set up in STRUCTURE (STRUCURE is used mainly for the data entry of raw data and to hierarchically organize the issues)
2) jus to say: 2 columns are rolled UP (COL A and COL B) . The third coloumn is calculated row by row and doesn't sum up because it's not linear by nature
ISSUE | Col A | Col B | Col C |
Programs#1 | ∑ Rolled (2 level) | ∑ Rolled (2 level) | Col A/Col B (calculated no rolled up) |
Project#1 | ∑ Rolled (1 level) | ∑ Rolled (1 level) | Col A/Col B (calculated no rolled up) |
Products#1 | X (raw data) | H (raw data) | Col A/Col B (calculated no rolled up) |
Products#2 | Y (raw data) | K (raw data) | Col A/Col B (calculated no rolled up) |
Project#2 | ∑ Rolled (1 level) | ∑ Rolled (1 level) | Col A/Col B (calculated no rolled up) |
Products#1 | X1 (raw data) | H1 (raw data) | Col A/Col B (calculated no rolled up) |
Products#2 | Y1 (raw data) | K1 (raw data) | Col A/Col B (calculated no rolled up) |
Thanks
AC
