ScriptRunner encoding results in "?" for french character

Julien GERARD September 26, 2018

Hi community,

as my title said when I saved some scriptrunner code and edit it again, the editor replace the french accent by the "?" character.

issue.issueType.name == 'Arriv?e d\'un agent' && cfValues['D?finir le poste de travail'] == 'Portable Standard : validation par le DSI et/ou DG'

Is there a way to keep characters like "é, è, ù, ..."

Hey Julien,

This is caused by an issue with the JIRA encoding properties. Both the "webwork.i18n.encoding" and the "sun.jnu.encoding" properties need to be set to UTF-8.

This link has information about issues with encoding properties and under the "Resolution" heading, there is a link that contains information on how to set these properties and options on startup.

Hello Carmen,

thanks for the response, I'm looking into it.

Ok, That's work for me.

Thanks again.
