In a Test Cycle, you can’t sort by Defect, Summary, Component or Label – some users may label their tests and may want to organise the cycle by a label, or the component. I think the Summary is also particularly important, as if you wanted to order by the test name, the Summary is the user friendly name of the test itself (rather than a generic ID number).
Hi Rakesh,
In Zephyr for JIRA 2.1+, we added the Search Test Executions navigator. This allows you to do a ZQL to search for specific executions in a cycle. Once you pull up the executions you can sort them by the column headers. Then you can begin executing them in the order you would like. In Zephyr for JIRA 2.1 we did not have the Summary but in Zephyr for JIRA 2.2 we included the summary. So please be sure to upgrade to Zephyr for JIRA 2.2.
How to use the Search Test Executions page:

Our ZQL reference page:

Kind Regards,
Emily
We, and our clients, do not use the ZQL or Search Test Executions pages. We only use the Test Cycle Summary pages because it is much more high-level-user friendly. When we will be able to sort by Summary, Component, and Label on this page by clicking on the column header? We are on Zephyr 2.5.1 and JIRA 6.3.9

Hi.
We have a lot of Test cycles and the product is really hard to use when we can't sort test cycle alfabetic or after startdate. I really hope that you will change that soon......
regards
