TM4J - is there a way to have test cases cross-project in Jira Cloud?

Hey folks! 

We installed TM4J, and somehow thought that TM4J provides ability to have cross-project test cases. Does it not? 

We have test cases across our product, but teams work in separate projects biting off tasks from one backlog project. 

How can we share test cases across multiple projects?

Tests are inherently tied to a project.

One option would be to create a project dedicated to holding those test cases that are not unique to a single project.

Then, when putting other test cases together or test cycles, you should be able to pull from any project including this common space project. The downside is that TM4J will always default to the current project so you always have the extra step of selecting a different project to find your common tests.
