TRIM document links in Confluence (TRIM Connector?)

Hello. I'm at a site with Confluence 5.x. The original plan was to upload PDFs and PPTs to Confluence and use Tags to then create "Documents by Role" pages etc.  But they've decided to put the Docs into TRIM (Document mgr) and just give me URLs.  From what I can see, I lose all the benefits of Tags or indeed Confluence.

Is there any form of TRIM 'connector' to 'publish' a given TRIM folder-thing to Confluence?  Or any other smart way to do this, compared to manually created Confluence pages with static links?  Thank you.
