Tempo Folio. Why is SPI calculated based on distributed the Total planned costs linearly over the Folio time frame?

Before Folio version 10 SPI was based on Planned Cost to date (no linear distributing). Why was it changed?

Can the method of calculation be configured?

Hi,

You are right, in the previous versions, the SPI was based on the planned value not linearly distributed.
After some clients feedback and revising the SPI formula, we had to readjust the computation of it to be based on the linear planned value. We needed to conform with the PMI formula.

Unfortunately the computation of the indexes is not configurable now a day but I could surely add a feature requests for this.
