We had configured 7 internal issues, all from a single project, to use in Tempo. One of the issues was deleted by a user. We were hoping to add that issue back into Jira with the same issue key, and we were successful. However, we are not able to add it back into Tempo as an internal issue. In fact, I'm not able to add even newly created issues from that project in as internal issues. When I select it in the drop down and click add, the Add button goes inactive and the cursor is a red circle with a line through it when over the button.
I was able to add in issues from other projects with not problem.
We figured out the issue! It was a permissions issue - we removed the atlassian-addons-project-access role. Everything worked when we put it back.
Well that might indeed be an issue! Haha.
it’s a system role so that the addons can integrate.
so best to leave that as it is.
Great tho that you were able to figure it out!

Hi @Beth Barnes ,
I think my first question would be, how did you re-add the issue with the same issue key?
I don't see if you are using Cloud or Server, if you are using server is there anything in the log? If you have a screenshot of your situation that might help too "a picture says more than a thousand words" right :)
