Test Plan folder structure from Test Repository

Lets say my Test Repository has a folder structure , and I want to inherit the same in my Test Plan but not all the Test Cases, what is the most optimum way to do that?

For Eg , Test Repository multiple functional component folders and each folder has all the type of Test Cases including Smoke , Sanity, Regression etc..., I want to create a Test Plan for only Smoke Test Cases, a Test Plan for only Sanity and a Test Plan for Regression . I do not want to create  a Test plan with the entire Test set and then manually remove /edit the TCs based on the filtering criteria every time I create a one. Can someone help me with this?
