Hello,
Please help us.
We are running JIRA in cloud for requirements/bugs/etc etc and Zephyr to manage the test cases and cycles/executions.
I need to show the PM the traceability between the requirements/tests/bugs.
We're new to JIRA traceability and are following the internal zephyr traceability help/support page at (https://zephyrdocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ZFJCLOUD/pages/27230214/Traceability) but the executions and defects columns only show total (i.e. Total: 1) and in executions case Total: 1 BLOCKED: 1.
As instructed I have linked the requirements to the test cases and test cases to bugs and added the bugs to the test execution.
I commence by selecting the version (Procure to Pay) and the Type (Requirements) and select the relevant requirements i want to report against.
I select the Requirement to Defect option and click the Generate button. And receive the below report display.
Have i forgotten to do something?
Or maybe our JIRA/zephyr isnt configured correctly?
Can anyone please help?
thanks Matt
Zephyr can only create Traceability report like the one displayed in your screenshot.
You can try out some other dedicated Traceability addons like Links Explorer Traceability and Hierarchy or some other similar kind of addon to meet your needs.
Hi If you are using BDD then take a look at AssertThat. The scenarios are linked to user stories or any Jira tickets so traceability is easy to setup.
Traceability matrix report details are here:
