Turn on Regex in JEMH and add the expressions

John Juliano January 26, 2021

I have turned on Regex in JEMH and I cannot find where to enter the expressions so that I can remove the signatures.

The instructions that I found seem to be slightly outdated because they do not match up with what my screen is showing.  I will post the link below:

I finally found it.  It is under 'Profiles' then select the Configure (cog) icon next to the profile you want to configure.  In the next screen select the 'Project Mappings' on the left side screen menu.  On the right side of the screen select configure (the cog).  In the next screen on the left hand side select 'Field Processors' then click Edit (cog) on the right hand side of the screen.  Scroll down to Regex and change to Yes, this  will enable the Regex. then on the left hand side select 'Pre-Processing' then click the Edit (cog) on the right hand side.  You will see Create Comment on the left hand side, click the plus sign (+) next to where you want to edit and add the expression.

Hi John, was preparing to answer here but it sounds like you've found what you were looking for. Just to be sure, you are using JEMH for Jira Server as opposed to Cloud? I will look at getting that document updated for recent versions.
