Slack plugin installed in Jira successfully. Credentials provided by Slack app have been entered. Currently at "Limited".
Jira app added to Slack, but getting an error when submitting:
"Hmm, something’s gone wrong."
My URL is https://jira.company.name with no trailing slash.
Searching the documentation and support forums I check a few things:
-We use a real SSL cert
-We have our instance open to the 'net at large.
-No trailing slash on our Jira server base URL
I saw a suggestion to whitelist /slack* - no joy. I turned off the whitelist entirely and tried to submit - still getting the same error.
What other steps can I try? Is there anything else I can do to get something a little better than the super descriptive "Hmm, something's gone wrong" error?
Hey all,
I just wanted to follow up and mention that we had a transient issue with the Jira Server to Slack integration during this timeframe. The issue was resolved fairly shortly after folks noticed issues in their Jira Server instances and everything should be flowing smoothly now.
Cheers,
Daniel | Atlassian Support
Same error when attempting to push the configuration through from my Slack Admin page.
I deleted the integration entirely and reinstalled it from scratch - SUCCESS.
Cheers.

I'm getting the same issue!
Slack support hasn't been able to help (it's a third-party app from their perspective), and Atlassian support still hasn't responded.
