Updated Date isn't updating on objects when using Insight PostFuntions

When using the insight postFunctions, the Object's updated date does not reflect the change. Is this an expected result?

Hi Eric,

The "Updated" field of the object will reflect any changes on the objects you created. For example if you have removed or added a reference to this object it should appear in the object's history.

However, adding postFunctions to objects should not appear in the object's history in Insight but rather on the Jira Tickets affected by/affecting this object.
