User added to multiple groups

is there any possibility to add a single user to more groups?

Version 1.5 for pre JIRA 7 and version 1.7 for JIRA 7 now support adding the user multiple groups.

Not currently but I will add this for the next release due around the end of this month. 

What would be your vote for a delimiting character?

it was important for us this functionality few weeks back. We have finally solved this with some work around.
