We are finding when we use apache webserver as a proxy to forward requests the calendar plugin is not working.

Jacob Fraser March 1, 2013

We setup an apache webserver to front our wiki requests so people don't have to enter a port number. but the calendar plugin does not appear to work when we do this.

example:

abc.com --> webserver forwards all requests to abc.com:8090.

when I have a team calendar and hit add event nothing happens. Also I don't see any events.

BUT if I put the port number in..

abc.com:8090 --> webserver forwards all requests to abc.com:8090.. team calendar works.

Is there a setting we can set to make the apache Proxy work with team calendars?

Hi Jacob,

The problem might be related to the actual server base URL of Confluence. Of course the apache could be playing some role in this issue but what I would recommend is to make sure you are using the exact same URL that you use in the browser to access Confluence.

This doc may help you:

I'll leave this question open so someone else might know exactly what could be causing this if I'm not correct.
