What is the data model for MS Teams Add on, is it secure?

I need to provide evidence that the MS Teams add-ons for Jira and Confluence are secure and all data is encrypted.  

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am interested in very similar question, but then also it really depends on WHAT is secure for you, for your company? What are the requirements and can it meet those. Also how you understand secure in general.

To provide some starting answers for you I also need to ask, have you tried to check how it really works? Well it uses https and OAuth for the integration so it at least starts with something secure, but then there are so many other aspects.. and for me I would love to see some architectural map of this whole solution to understand where the problems might be cause there seem to be a lot of moving parts and you can't simply know where the weak spot for your case could be.
