What's the differences between "Actions for JSD" add-on and the (now) native JSD functionality ?

I would say the functionality of Actions for JSD is richer than the native JIRA transitions on the portal. The key difference is that Actions allows you to show a transition screen, whereas JIRA will only allow you to enter a comment on transition. So additional to just changing the status of the issue, Actions also offers the possibility to the Portal user to add or edit issue fields.
