I've got some addons/apps/plugins either installed, or that I have past links to, which when brought up on the Marketplace take you to a version history with a note that says:
This app provides core functionality to one or more Atlassian products. You can download any version ...
What's up with these? What's it trying to tell me?
At first it was a somewhat rare occurrence, but I'm seeing it more frequently. I believe one cause for it is an author not willing to commit to newer changes in terms of service etc.
It would be nice if the page was a little clearer about the state of the plugin.
