As Python-2 will be officially EoL on 2019-12-31, I'm going to get rid of legacy code.

Before starting to convert "e3" from Python2.7 to at least Python3.6 by myself, I'd like to know, if there is an official plan or project for this?

Hi Jürgen,

The framework I believe you are referring to is located in this bitbucket repo https://bitbucket.org/atlassian/elastic-experiment-executor/src/master/

From what I have gathered about this code, I have not yet been able to find any such official plan to update this code in the manner you have described.  I have reached out to a few different people here at Atlassian who have been involved in this, and the consensus appears to be that an update like this is very unlikely to happen at this time. This code is provided as is, and is not supported by Atlassian.

I hope this helps.

Andy
