Why are branches disappearing when I create them in Git Integration for Jira?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I create a new branch in Jira:
refresh the page, and poof, it's gone
As we can see, the other 2 branches that were created a few days ago are still there.
Why are the new ones disappearing?
