We have a View config hierarchy set up based on a "master" link.
Each Master issue has linked non-master issues that are "part of" that master.
I have noticed that when we edit the date of a non-master issue in a WBS Gantt View that contains several "Master" issues, the edit will trigger the Finish date of ALL "Master" issues shown in the WBS Filter View to change to match the Finish date of each of their respective latest "part of" linked non-master issue.
Is there any way around this? Essentially we are finding this to be disruptive and confusing, as a change to a non-master issue could potentially trigger a Finish date update to completely non-linked Master issues if present on the same WBS View.
Hi @Andrew Zimmerman _Appfire_,
Yes, there is a way around that.
WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira has a feature called Auto-correct schedule which automatically updates the parent issue's plan when you change the child issue's plan.
You can turn it off from User preferences menu.
Is this what you mean? If not, please let me know.
Cheers,
