Why does the description show "{panel:borderStyle=solid|bgColor=#FFFFCE}h1. "after a merge?

The merge appears to be working after the plugin was installed by Atlassian but the description shows as {panel:borderStyle=solid|bgColor=#FFFFCE}h ...

Any suggesttions? A setup issue or configuration issue?

You need to change the rendered used for the Description field to be the Wiki rendered not the text renderer. It's in the Field Configuration under Admin.
