Hi,
I'm writing this question with a sense of desperation having tried so many ways around the issue I am having. I'm keeping everything crossed in the hope that someone might be able to help.
SHORT FORM
My issue is with GAIA for JIRA - the Project templating add-on. Having previously had it working it now fails to create Issues within the Project when I create a Project from template. It creates and sets everything else (Workflow Schema, Permissions Schema etc) but it does not create the Issues.
DETAIL
Jira v6.3
GAIA v.1.3.0.4 (the highest version for v6 JIRA)
Things that I have noticed:
-Even creating the default GAIA projects fails to create the Issues (not just my custom template)
-When I create my project from GAIA, all schemes get applied EXCEPT for the "Issue Type Schema" - it reverts to the default for some reason
-As per the GAIA instructions, I ensured that the template Issue type ('Task') is present in the schema that is being applied
-I am doing all of this as the sys admin user so it can't be a permissions thing
To recap - I create a Project from my GAIA template. The Project gets created with everything except the Issue Type Schema and then, of course, no Issues.
Can anyone possibly shed some light as to why this might be? I am starting to lose faith in the products - which is not deserved as it may be something I have done.
Thanks so much for your help
Hello,
Was this issue ever resolved? I am working off JIRA 7.2.3 and am not able to automate issues being created while using a template.
Please advise when you have a moment. Thanks!
Many thanks for the response Luc. I have sent the requested material directly to your mailbox.

Hi Paul,
Sorry, this is a busy day caused by the release of Gaia 1.5.0.2 (compatible with JIRA 7+)
We made a bug fix related to the issue type scheme, but this is something that was only happening in JIRA 7. I am surprised to hear that actually. These bugs are really tricky because they totally depend on your configuration of JIRA (what schemes do you have, etc.).
For now, I would suggest that you generate a log file (follow instruction at https://nuumsolutions.atlassian.net/wiki/display/PGPD/5.+Logging) and reproduce the bug again. Then send us the log file. We will look into it.
Regards,
Luc
