Why is "Log Work" mandatory?

To setup everything, it is required to set "Log "Work" and "RTM Environment" as screen fields.

Why is this mandatory. 
It is mixing up our screen fields, because "log work" is connected with "remaining estimate"

And this will become a mess if we add it to the screen.

It looks like a helpful and good developed tool, but unfortunately this is a problem for us.

Hi Robert,
sorry for such late answer. The "Log work" field is no longer set as a mandatory field.

I hope you find RTM for Jira as a useful application!
