Why is the WBS Gantt-Chart on the icon on the left menu different than a new WBS Gantt-Chart created

I would like to see the newly created WBS Gantt-Chart by clicking on the WBS Gantt-Chart icon on the left menu

Hi Omar,

Gantt offers two management methods and each has different configurations.

Gantt -chart you open from the Gantt-chart icon on the left menu in Project navigation sidebar is called 'Project Gantt-chart' which uses Global settings and it's configured by the Jira administrator or system administrator.  Global settings

The other one is called 'Gantt' you can create from WBS Gantt-chart menu and configure by an administrator or Gantt administrator.  Users have the ability to create their own Gantts and share with other users as well as use Gantt created by other. However, users cannot open the Gantt from the project navigation sidebar.   Gantt settings

If you would like to open newly created Gantt from Project Sidebar, you might want to use Add link function to add shortcuts for Gantt in the sidebar and share with the whole team to see.  Project shortcuts
