Why this plugin is not developed for jira higher versions?

Wen are widely using this plugin for all our projects but now we need to upgrade Jira to 7.13 or 8. But i can see that development of this plugin is no longer done for higher versions of Jira? Why is it so? We cant upgrade jira without this plugin as most pf our teams use this facility. Is there any workaround for us to use this i higher versions of Jira?

The overwhelming majority of Atlassian clients have moved from Subversion to better/newer source control systems, SVN is very much a tiny niche market nowadays, and Atlassian (and others) just don't see the point of supporting it any more.

FWIW, I wish they did, Subversion is still used because it's good.  But it does have a lot of competition - there are far better SCMs that use the Subversion approach, and most of the world has moved to Git, which is great for developers and bloody awful for non-developers (I can explain Subversion to my mom, but not git because its approach is "clever" instead of "intuitive")
