Workflow approvals - is there a way to capture individual approval via automation

Hi,

We're replacing a DocuSign process with approval within Jira Service Management and it would be really nice to be able to capture individual approvals for auditing purposes so the ticket would either display a comment or custom fields that easily identify the individual approvals and approval date/time.

We're also thinking about displaying those approvals as a separate tab - kinda like DocuSign has their Signature Panel which shows a summary with all the approvals. To do that in Jira though, we need to be able to capture each approval as well its date/time.

Since "approval" is not a trigger within Jira automation, is there a workaround that I can use to accomplish this?
