I've created a .zen.master page with a right, left, and center column (see the following screen shot for formatting). As you can see in the screen shot, my right column includes the Zen greeting macro and the Confluence LiveSearch macro.
The preview version of this formatting looks like this...
I open the .zen.master page for editing and add additional text to the right column. See screen shot.
Then, when I go back into the preview mode, the width for my right column is no longer working.
I looked at the Zen Master Page designer and see that the widths are no longer identified.
Does anyone know why this is happening? It appears to be a bug.
Hi Stacia,
It looks like you're using the "Edit Entire Page" option to manipulate content. This is really only intended for debugging and wholesale copy-paste, because Zen has rules about placement and parameters on the section macros. (For instance, content outside the sections will mess things up.)
I would suggest recreating the page and then using the section menu to add new sections, the edit pencil on each section to change wiki content, and the Master Page Designer to set the elements that display, as adjust column widths (or just drag the gutters between the columns to adjust size without opening the designer).

Thanks very much for your help Darryl! I'll give this a try. :-)

Daryl, can you say more about ow you drag to adjust column widths (or point me to a place where this is documented)? I can't find a way to do that.

Hi Jonathan,
To resize the columns on a master page, just move your cursor to the space between columns and begin dragging. If you want to resize on a regular page, you'll have to turn off the master page control first, then create and resize columns in the same way.
