I'm using confiForm to send an email ad attach an .ics file (calendar invite). The name of the file keeps appearing in the body of the message but the file is not getting attached?
Help.
I believe we have got this sorted in private conversation, do you mind to share the solution with others, @joe weiss
So, the problem was with how you reference a file field inside your ConfiForms IFTTT macro body.
You can reference it via [entry.field_name] notation (to get field's internal value) and you can also use the ConfiForms Field macro.
And only when you use the ConfiForms Field macro the field is referenced as a full, rich object (entity) and send/attached with all it's contents
This is valid for all the use-cases: sending emails (attachments), sending files to Jira (when creating Jira issues) or when passing a file contents to external webservice.
