how to configure "Clone and Move JIRA" plugin only to work for selected projects

Hi there,

While using "Clone and Move JIRA" plugin, there are two drop-down fields: one is for source project and the other one for destination project. By default, it has all the projects inside our JIRA instances as its values. However, we would like to short the lists in those two drop-down fields. Could you please let us know how to configure this?

Hi Phill,

Thanks a lot for your reply. You are right that we can control the project accessibility through permissions. However, our use case here is that only the clone operation has the restriction on the source projects and the destination projects, for issue creation, there is no limit. After more resource, we have found out that "Clone plus" plugin has the features needed.

I suspect when you looked at the Clone and Move you are logged in as a user who has visibility of all projects. As the Clone and Move respects the permissions of the current user and restricts the list of projects to just those appropriate to the logged in user.
