plugin help needed

i m new to jira i want help to write the jira plugin to access the entered jql query in the issue navigator

I have to say that I agree with Renjith here - the question is not really detailed enough. What does "access the entered jql query" mean?

Perhaps if you explained the end goal, what the users should see?
