scriptrunner - copy issue and link together

With Scriptrunner, is there a way I can copy a issue1 in project A in jira service desk and paste it in project B in jira, then link these two issues together?

In jira service desk I have Project A issue 1, I am looking for a way that I can copy project A issue 1 to Jira project B as issue 2, then link these two issues

The Clone issue and Link built-in script seems like a good fit for that.

That can be configured as a script post function on a workflow or a script listener.
