using any other function as argument for workLoggedAfter()

Is it viable to make it possible to use currentUser() or membersOf() as username argument for workLoggedAfter()?

CURRENT_USER works indeed.

So it's not possible to pass functions as such to workLoggedAfter()?

Nope. JIRA doesn't support passing one function to another.

Try the following:

issue in workLoggedAfter("date","CURRENT_USER")

You can use absolute or relative dates.
