No more missed meetups

Good day members,

We understand that life can be hectic. Work, family, health,....so many of you sign up to attend a meetup but for some reason can not make it. It is totally understandable. As much we will enjoy seeing more people attending, we will always make sure to share notes here within our group so that you don't miss too much except of course seeing  @Billy Poggi AUG NOVA_ DC  and myself 🤪

I enjoy socializing and hope that you will still try to make it to the meetups.

Below are notes taken from last AUG Meetups (Mattermost & JIRA) - July 25, 2019

• Mattermost was developed using Golang
• It is open source 
• Community Focused
• Self-hosted
• SSO (Single Sign On) & MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
• Data Retention and Compliance

Integrate JIRA in Mattermost

• Open Mattermost
• Go to Plugins → JIRA → Enable JIRA

Integrate Mattermost in JIRA

• Open JIRA
• Click on the Cog → System → Advanced → Webhooks

If all steps work as expected, user will be able to see Jira issues created, updated in Mattermost. User will also be able to create jira issues from Mattermost.
