🎬 From Hollywood to Rovo-wood: My Team ’25 Recap 🌴

It’s been over a month since Team ’25 wrapped up in sunny California—and honestly, I’m still buzzing from all the announcements, conversations, and product inspiration I soaked in during the event.

☀️ Anaheim > Vegas?

Let’s be real: I didn’t miss Vegas. Sure, the desert dazzle and casino chaos had its moments, but Anaheim brought a totally different vibe. Between the coastal charm of Santa Monica, the glitz of Hollywood, the hiking trails of Griffith Park, and  of course, Disneyland, this year’s location set the stage for something fresh. 

Oh—and yes, I snuck in a visit to the Santa Monica Pier. Zero regrets.

🚀 Rovo Goes Mainstream (and Everyone Went Wild!)

The biggest moment of the conference? No contest.

When Mike Cannon-Brookes dropped the bombshell that Rovo, Atlassian’s AI teammate, was now generally available in Premium and Enterprise plans, the crowd erupted. Think keynote-meets-rock-concert energy. 🤯

That’s right: no more VIP-only access. Rovo is officially part of the Atlassian squad for everyone on paid plans of Jira, Confluence, and more for Premium and Enterprise plans. 

📦 App Bundles FTW: Meet the Teamwork Collection

Another big headline: the Teamwork Collection. Atlassian bundled Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Rovo into a new powerhouse offering that’s not just for dev teams anymore.

With AI agents and async workflows baked in, this bundle is purpose-built for collaboration across all kinds of teams. The message was clear: make Jira and Confluence work for everyone, not just software engineers.

Loom + Rovo? That’s an async power move waiting to happen.

🧠 Great Conversations, Greater Collaborations

Some of the most impactful moments happened beyond the keynotes—right at our booth.

Whether it was reconnecting with long-time customers, fielding questions from curious newcomers, or whiteboarding ideas with fellow partners, the energy was unmatched. 

☁️ Cloud is Calling — And It’s Getting Louder

As a vendor with strong Data Center roots, we saw the cloud wave coming — and honestly, it’s in full force now.

With Enterprise customers actively migrating, the recent announcements around Atlassian Government Cloud and Atlassian Isolated Cloud, the message is loud and clear: Cloud is not just the future — it’s the present.

While many are still navigating their journey, what’s clear is that the demand for secure, scalable, and integrated security for the entire Atlassian Ecosystem. This made our conversations at Team'25 even more meaningful.

🛡️ Guard Up. Value First.

With the rapid evolution of Atlassian Guard, we’re not here to compete — we’re here to complement. For us, as security vendors, there’s still so much ground to cover. We aim to deliver end-to-end security across the Atlassian ecosystem.

Here’s how we see it:

🧭 We lead with value, not limitations.

⚙️ With AI accelerating product innovation, differentiation is everything.

🔐 Delivering end-to-end security, automation, and fitting into async-first workflows is the new baseline.

👜 Merch Talk: Tote Bags 3.0?

As someone who lived behind the booth for a good part of the event, a quick note from the vendor trenches:

Tote bags? Gone by Day 2. Again. While that’s awesome, we’re thinking it’s time to mix things up. Something fresh is coming for Barcelona—stay tuned. 👀

🎉 Bash Was a Vibe (As Always)

No Atlassian event is complete without the legendary Bash party. Music, lights, dancing, and those spontaneous conversations that you somehow remember more than the keynotes. It ended too soon (as always), but the memories? Gold.

Next Stop: Barcelona!
