Recently, I was also able to persuade Cidoni Brind, a colleague who runs the PMO at Trundl (where we both work), to launch an online Atlassian Community Events chapter. Specifically, one that's purpose-built for those of us who are passionate about program and project management best practices on Jira.
I’m going to help him. It’s a shared area of interest and we both believe in fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among our PMO/PPM peers in the Atlassian ecosystem.
Whether you're a project manager, product manager, or simply interested in the intricacies of managing projects and products on the Atlassian platform, our events promise to provide valuable insights and practical knowledge to help you excel.
Join us on May 21st at 9:00 AM PDT (Los Angeles) (12:00 PM EDT (New York) / 16:00 GMT) for our inaugural event.
Mastering Jira Plans for Effective Project Management is for project management professionals who want to level up their skills and knowledge with Jira Plans and our presenters are all experienced PMO / program managers who work on the Atlassian platform every day. They'll be bringing a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to the table.
You’ll learn valuable tips on setting up and managing Jira Plans effectively, whether you’re managing a single project or overseeing an entire portfolio. This talk will give you the tools and techniques you need to boost your productivity and streamline your project management processes.
And here’s the cherry on top: one lucky attendee will win a $50 U.S. Amazon Gift Card! That’s just a little extra motivation to join us!
Check it out and RSVP today‼️
If you’re part of the Atlassian Community, you’ve probably noticed that topic-based, online Atlassian Community Events (ACE’s) are becoming very popular.
These virtual chapters are a great addition to the many city-based chapters that are already thriving worldwide. They give Atlassian Community members a chance to connect and chat about shared interests (without the geography constraints).
I know this firsthand. Last year I co-founded an online chapter called ITSM/ESM Masters. It’s focused on topics relevant to Jira Service Management users.
However, I have other interests too. Program / Project Management is one of them and I knew it was an area of interest I shared with a work colleague, Cidoni Brind.
He used to be a customer of mine when I worked with the Structure for Jira team.
When Heather Ronnebeck heard about the new chapter she offered her support. Given her expertise in this area, Cidoni and I were only too happy to accept her offer! Phil Heijkoop rounds out the team. Among other things, he ran the Agile consulting practice at Adaptavist.
With a big assist from Atlassian Community Strategist, @Caity Belta, Program/Project Masters was born.
