I'm part of a large branching institution that hasn't managed to gather all their Jira organizations into one basket yet.
In the meantime we need these multiple tenants to have full functionality, including managing authentication policies that only come from domain verification.
Is it possible/feasible to do this? If so, is there a restriction in which methods of domain verification can be shared (DNS, HTTPS, Google, Azure AD sync).
Thanks,
Jacob
Hello, @Jacob Malony
Yes multiple Atlassian Cloud organisations can verify the same domain, but they can't claim the same users i.e. you need to start with all orgs on "manual" setting, and, assuming you have one default org where all "future" users should end up – you can switch that one to automatic claim but only after you sorted your current users.
See Multiple orgs can verify, and claim users from, the same domain
I have only seen it working with DNS verification. Doesn't mean that other methods won't work.
