Different user count between Admin panel and APIs

The number of users belonging to a group retrieved from the API (https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/admin/organization/rest/api-group-groups/#api-v1-orgs-orgid-groups-search-post) is different from the number provided in the Admin panel.

Specifically, the API returns a higher number.

How do we understand which one is the correct number?

Hi @ilaria.scagno 

The API will include app users too, but the UI filters those users out.

If you filter out the connect app users, you’ll get the correct number.
