We are considering unsubscribing from the JIRA Confluence cloud service, and I would like to know if our existing records will be lost after cancellation. Could you please clarify Atlassian's data retention policy? Specifically, how long will our data be retained, and what options do we have to export or back up our records before unsubscribing?

Data is retained for 60 days after the subscription period ends. During this time, the site is deactivated and inaccessible, but you can reactivate it to restore your data.
You could always move to the free plan which would limit the number of individuals that would be able to access the applications, but you would be able to retain your data as long as you regularly logged in. If you failed to regularly access the apps they will be marked as inactive and deleted after 60 days.
