Hi team - we have one project called IT Service Desk.
Under ITSD project, we have multiple projects.
Users, who are part of this project, have full access to all Jira tickets.
Is there any way, where we can segregate those users from accessing all tickets under new project within ITSD project?
Needs to be limited to Service desk users only.
Please assist.
Murad
Hi @Murad Jamal and welcome to the community.
If you wish to restrict access to issues within a single project the only way is to use issue security
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-issue-security-schemes/
Using this feature you can set access to issues based on a certain "level" to which you can (dynamically) assign users/groups/roles
Hi Dirk,
I hope, all is well.
Thanks for the update on this.
Under projects, there is one project called IT Service Desk,
Under IT Service Desk, we have four portal groups.
Out of 4 portal groups, we need to limit the access to one new portal group from other agents who have access to one project called IT Service Desk.
Would it be possible to do this?
Please confirm
Regards,
murad

Hi @Murad Jamal ,
Portal groups would be used on the portal by customers. There is no way to limit access to specific portal groups or request types within a portal group.
